My precious Ringo

Ringo is my 4 year old Red Tailed Boaconstrictor. Ive had her for about a year and just found out she has a fatal disease. Im really not looking forward to it, but sometime soon I'll have to take her to the vet and get her put down. She is a beautiful creature and I will never forget her. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to get another Boa, but none will ever replace her for she was my first big snake.

I took this photo last night
These I took when I first got her

Crown Brush let down :(

I've heard meny great things about Crown Brush from a few people so, the day after Christmas I bought a few brushes and was super excited to get them! But its now January 15th and they still havnt come in the mail. We called and it turned out they were closed until January 6th, so I figured Id have my brushes in a few days, but they still didnt come, so we called back and they said if I didnt have them by Friday (yesterday), they would send me a new set. I hope they come soon because Ive been waiting so longg and am so excited!

On the other hand...

Im so happy! For the first time in years Im finally going to have a comforter that actually fits my bed! I have a twin sized bed (tiny I know, but its just me and my dog sleeping there so its perfect) and Ive always had a queen sized quilt. The otherday I got rid of the quilt and my mom let me go shopping and we ordered this adorable comforter and pillowcase set! It matches my room perfectly! I cant wait for it to come in the mail :D

Next, my father is really looking forward to getting my makeup career started so sometime between now and the beginning of summer were going to go down to California and check out a few makeup schools. MUD being the one were mainly considering because it would be perfect, I could take their Makeup 101 course and be back home in time to start my Cosmetology courses at Olympic College. I may bitch and moan about it alot to my father, but I really am quite excited about all of this!

What a wonderful Friday!

Tonight I got to see The Black Swan with my father and friend Courtney
My dance studio is doing a production of Swan Lake this year and Ive never even seen the ballet so I thought it would be cool to see this movie about it. This movie blew me away! Words cant describe it, its weird, scary, wonderful, beautiful, creepy, gross. It had me pumped with adrenalin the whole car ride home. Oddly, it makes me want to become a harder working dancer myself, which I dont think it should. I think it was saposed to creep me out so that I never become that way, but this movie just showed me that Im really not trying/training as hard as I could to become the dancer I'd like to. Anyway, it was a fantastic movie.

A day in Seattle with my parents

To start off the morning my parents and I went to the House of Jade and ate yummie Dim Sum for breakfast! We'd eaten all the food before I remembered I'd wanted to take a photo of the feast so here is the after breakfast shot:
Dad and Mom

Next we went to go get me some makeup and on the way there we saw a sight to remember! Two men playing a game of chess, but their pieces were two feet tall! How on earth did they get the whole set up there? They didnt have any bags with them.

And last but not least, my mother suprised me by telling me she'd forgotten to give me one of my christmas presents. Im in love with it and will wear it every day! She got it from Fuego.

Argggg! Happy New Year indeed

For starters, Im spending this New Years eve at home, I got to see a Picasso Exhibit which was really nice, so Im pretty tired now and dont feel like going out. But I was three numbers away from winning the Sephora Silver Ticket Sweepstakes,

Tell me the ticket isnt adorable! Ive been keeping it with me in my planner at all times until today.

Next is something Ive been wanting to share for quite some time!
July 31, 2010 Kandee Johnson came to do a Glaminar in seattle. It was destiny! Because that day is my birthday and the day before, my friend Samantha told me about her coming up glaminar so I had just enough time to get my ticket. When I went to go see her it was amazing and at the end she gave certificates to everyone who took her glaminar, but my name wasnt on the list since I had just barely bought my ticket, so she promised to send it in the mail at a later date. I was doubtful because It didnt come for about two months, but I shouldnt have been because eventually it did come :) I was so excited and felt so honored! She had it mailed first class and even wrote a little note on it :) I was so excited I took photos. If she still lived at the same adress I wouldnt upload the picture, but I heard she just recently moved, so I dont see any harm in doing so.

I felt so special to have something sent to me by her! And her handwriting is as lovely as she is.

For somereason I dont feel right uploading a picture of the certificates, so I wont. But seeing these pictures I took, and remembering my last birthday just brightened my New Years so much! Happy New Years everyone!!!
