Yay! Im not orange anymore!

I have had orange hair for the past 5 weeks and its been killing me! My hair has been looking really dry and it just didnt go well with my skin tone. The color started like this:
Ignore the makeup, I was a doll for my dance studios production of The Nutcracker and this was the day of the show.

And then it faded to this gross color I cant even describe:

And now it is this luscious red!

And I am very pleased! 

Anddd, I just went to Mac and bought this "Lustreglass" in Luminary and face powder in the color Blunt and I'm in love with both! I really love the Luminary, when it slides on it feels amazing, and it doesnt make my lips peel by the end of the day like some other  cheaper lip glosses do. 

Lastly, what a bummer! My parents went to see some Picasso art, but the tickets were sold out so I didnt get to go with them :( Maybe if Im lucky I'll get to go next Monday

Face products that have worked wonders for me

These three simple steps have helped me become acne free for months:

First I use this Trader Joes face wash. Just a tiney dab will work to clean the entire face. Its completely organic and hasnt been used on any animals. It contains ingredients like vitamin C & E and orange fruit extract. (I dont use the face lotion that comes with it till after step two)

Next I use this Burts Bees facial scrub, its an exfoliant gentle enough to be used daily

New things that I simply adore!

Yesterday I had a wonderful experience where my best friend Jordan straightened my hair with her new

Joico K-Pak ReconstRx Vapor Iron

This thing is amazing!! I have really damaged hair from constantly dying it

and using different ironing tools, but this stuff, It comes with a little bottle of liquid that you pour into a container that clicks into the straightener, and as it straightens, the heat makes the liquid bond with your hair, making your hair stronger and softer. And it really works, my hair is probably tiwce as soft as it was yesterday when it was still curly. 

It comes with an instructional video and bottle of the reconstructor liquid; the bottle is relatively small and we had to refill the straightener with the liquid 3 times to get my full head done, so I recommend buying a larger bottle. I got mine for christmas and they are great, they are super comfortable and not outrageously priced. They have about a 3 inch heel and come with an extra pair of laces. They come in a ton of different styles and color so go knock yourself out!

Christmas with the Fishmans

I dont know about you, but every Christmas at the Fishman house, its always been the same thing!

 My mom is the only one who buys gifts. 

My father is jewish so he doesnt exactly like christmas, but he doesnt practice Judaism so he also doesnt really mind it,  basically what you should take away from this is that my father doesn't buy Christmas presents... 

Anywho, this year my mom came up with this wonderful idea to give each of us "young adults" (My two brothers, their girlfriends and I) $50 dollars to spend on eachother. 

At first I was skeptical, but it turned out to be a fabulous idea! 

We all had so much fun buying eachother gifts! And since we only had enough money to buy little knick knacks,  for the first time in a long time, 

we finally had the whole base of the tree covered in gifts!

This is my father who you can tell is just bouncing with joy for the Christmas holiday!

I know Christmas can be a stressful time of the year for some people,
But remember this is the time of year where we should forget about all the stress in life!
Be thankful for what we have, and show others how much we appreciate them.
